Inferno (Canto I) Reflection

Dante Alighieri's Inferno isn't just about the teaching us what hell looks like, what sins not to do, what actions to fulfill. It shows us that merely knowing about something is not enough. We need to accompany this knowledge  with application and deep understanding. Dante not only knows and recognizes sins he committed during his lifetime, but he also searches for salvation, apology, and guidance in order for those sins to not take over him, blocking his relationship with God. Personally, the first time I read Canto I, I found it uninteresting because I always adored vast imaginary places with unique concepts more than tragic scenes because imagining is my strength. After reading Canto I again, I found the deeper meaning of what it means to be a sinner. Life Principles

A Reflection I am a  person who rides the wind of life without worries. I've no plans for the future, just plans for the present. This blog is reserved for an in depth analysis and reflection to the famous religious literary piece, The Book of Matthew. The piece not only teaches you to be a person whose mind is focused on righteousness, but it also teaches you how to live the life of which God sees fit. It is a book containing the basic life principles of which everyone should follow and reflect on. As a Roman Catholic, the message of the piece was not new to my ears, because I often hear it on Sunday masses and in the religious academic subject we had in elementary where every quarter, a portion of the book is being discussed in class. What's not new to me is the realization of what every line, every sentence, and every paragraph really means.
